"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" is almost a year away from its release date and it continues to be surrounded by rampant rumours. A report debunking the major rumour of the movie being split in two halves also revealed some exciting potential spoilers and plot details.

On Jan. 9, 2015 Badass Digest addressed the rumour claiming that "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" will have two parts titled: "Enter the Knight" and "Dawn of Justice." The rumour started to spread like wildfire when a picture emerged with release dates of the two movies claiming to have appeared in one of the trailers.

The abovementioned website expressed doubts about the truth behind the picture and suggested that splitting "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" into two is "terribly plausible." Alongside, the writer of the article claimed to be familiar with at least one draft of the movie's script and teased some plot details revealing bomb of spoilers.

According to Devin Faraci of the abovementioned entertainment news website, the two hour and twenty minutes long movie may involve a battle scene wherein the DC Comics superheroes together will combat Doomsday, who is essentially a Superman villain.

Speculating about how the movie could be split into two halves, the website revealed that there is a "big Superman and Batman fight which comes about halfway through the film." For a long time, rumours have been making the rounds about Doomsday's appearance in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice." However, it was thought the battle scene will involve only the monster and Superman.

Elaborating on the action sequence, the publication reveals that the "fight scene isn't huge." Furthermore, it is said that fans must not expect "enough action in first half of the movie."

As for the second part, it reportedly contains battle scene involving Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman and Doomsday. The three superheroes will together attempt to take down the villain in Metropolis and Gotham. In the comics, Doomsday is said to be the killer of Superman. 1992's "The Death of Superman" features the said murder scene.

The article revealed another "small" detail or "spoiler" from the plot of "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice." The website notes that "Ray Fisher, who plays Cyborg, said he only has scenes with Ben Affleck." The author is certain that the actor only has a cameo in the movie, further stating that "that's very very end as Batman assembles the Justice League."

Meanwhile, Comic Book weighs in on the rumour about Doomsday's appearance in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice." The aforementioned the entertainment news publication suggests that "it seems both unlikely and ill-advised that Superman would die so soon after "Man of Steel" in the films, and if he doesn't, the question then becomes...why Doomsday?"

At the same time, fans must note the report lacks official comments from the moviemakers and other associated people. Thus the details must be considered as mere rumour.

"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg and more. The film is scheduled to be release on March 25, 2016.
