"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" is a highly anticipated DC Comics movie of the year 2016. Even though the film is almost two years away from its release date, details, speculations, rumours about the plot continue to pop up. Recently, more photos from the Detroit sets have surfaced on the internet teasing possible anti-Superman storyline.

Henry Cavill's Superman has many challenges to face up with in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice." Besides the villain, he must deal with the outrage of the common people. Recently, new set photos showing angered Metropolis residents protesting against Superman are circulating on the internet.

Twitter user Tim Reinman posted the said set photos that are now creating some buzz. The pictures are taken from the distance and it is hard to make out what's written on the posters carried by the protestors. Cinema Blend notes that it seems the demonstrators are carrying banners suggesting "Super Death." Furthermore, there are banners that seem to show Swastika signs and "crude-alien" drawings. Another photo shows a protestor carrying banner that reads sarcastic message "Thanks for the 'Help.'

More photos have been revealed by another Twitter account user Tim Malin. The caption of the photo suggests that the protestors are "burning him in effigy."

Superman may have defeated the villains of "Man of Steel," but it seems his victory comes with a big price to pay. His battle with General Zod caused massive destruction to Smallville and Metropolis and it seems the superhero must confront the consequences.

Screen Rant notes that Batman and Superman "have a reputation for no-kill policies." At the end of the "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" prequel, the DC superhero violated his own rules. The entertainment news website speculates that Batman may take "Superman to task for not being more careful around the profoundly breakable human race."

In August, Batman On Film, revealed that the film follows a "very 'anti-superman' theme which includes people marching in the streets in protest against him."

In additional news, the movie's shooting will now take place in Chicago. According to Den of Geek, in "Dark Knight" trilogy the city served as Batman's hometown Gotham City and in "Man of Steel" it features as Metropolis.

The movie will reportedly be shot in downtown Chicago in early November.

Zack Snyder's "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" hits the big screen on March 25, 2016 featuring Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and more. Speculations about the movie's plot are running rampant. However, the studio is yet to reveal its official plot.
