Jason Momoa will not be telling jokes as Aquaman in “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.” The actor talked about what his character will be like in the forthcoming movie in a recent interview, but did not reveal too many details.

Over the years, the characters Batman and Superman have appeared to be serious men on screen. Appearing at the Fan Expo Canada 2015, Momoa said in an interview posted on ScreenRelish that Aquaman in the forthcoming Zack Snyder movie may not be a funny character.

The actor joked that he doesn’t know whether Aquaman will be “serious” and “rough” like the two main characters in the movie. Momoa also did not reveal whether his character will be fighting either Batman or Superman in the movie.

When asked about whether he brought anything from his past roles, Momoa explained that Aquaman will not be seen raping and pillaging any villages in the movie, which is a reference to his role as Khal Drogo in the “Game of Thrones” TV series.

When pressed to explain whether his character will appear scary in “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice,” Momoa said that he prefers to bring “different colours” to his character on screen and pointed out that he did not play Drogo as a “bad guy.” Although the actor did not reveal details about Aquaman, previous reports have leaked information about how the character will be introduced in the movie. [Spoiler alert]

According to a report by MoviePilot one of the scenes in the movie shows Batman (Ben Affleck) breaking into LexCorp and hacking into a computer. Batman is able to access a footage that will reportedly show Aquaman “smashing a tank with his bare hand.” Aquaman is said to have been captured after his battle with a mutant shark and the scientists at LexCorp will be conducting experiments on him in the movie.

A report by HeroicHollywood confirms that the scene that will introduce Aquaman in “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” will involve the character being held prisoner in a containment chamber and the scene will show Aquaman’s hand slapping against the glass of the chamber. The character has so far not been seen in any of the trailers of the movie and Snyder has only shared this picture of Momoa in costume, on his official Twitter page.
