"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" has been surrounded by rumours claiming that the highly anticipated DC Comics movie will be split into two. The reports swirling around evoked mixed reactions from the fans. However, movie's lead actor Henry Cavill finally addressed the rampant rumours, denying the false reports. Read on to find out what the actor has to say about it.

The whole thing started when a photo emerged online that was apparently from iPhone video of the teaser for "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice." The screengrab suggested that the studio is planning to split Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill starrer movie into two parts.

The photo suggested that "Batman V Superman" Part 1 will be titled "Enter the Knight" and Part 2 will be named "Dawn of Justice." Image went on to claim that the first instalment of the movie will be released much ahead of the official release date for the movie. The photo suggested that Part 1 of "Batman V Superman" will come out on Oct. 23, 2015 and Part 2 will find its way to the theatres on March, 25, 2016. The news was picked up by Latino Review.

However, the URL at the bottom of the photo was not visible. Several media outlets such as HitFix were quick to call attention, confirming that the URL at the bottom of the photo is not the official URL for "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" website.

In the meantime, Henry Cavill spoke to Variety and revealed the truth behind the speculations. According to the website, Henry Cavill confirmed that the "tentpole sequel directed by Zack Snyder will be released as one film."

Furthermore, the actor reportedly revealed that Ben Affleck "makes a 'great' Batman." He also assured the fans that "he wasn't injured in any of their fight scenes." Variety's journalist Ramin Setoodeh also posted series of Tweet about his brief chat session with Henry Cavill at the BAFTA tea at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills, CA. In addition to that, Badass Digest's reporter Devin Faraci reportedly spoke to his sources about the rumours. The anonymous insiders revealed that the report is false and "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" is not being split into two halves, according to his Tweet.

Besides Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck, "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" stars Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Diane Lane and more. The film is scheduled to be released on March 25, 2016.
