There are still two months before “Batman: Arkham Knight” arrives on June 23. But already, the hype for the game is back on track. Game director Sefton Hill has recently taken to Twitter to announce some developments on the game.

Gameranx has spotted some interesting tweets revealing some details, such as the fact that “Batman: Arkham Knight” has been in the drawing board for three years, including creating the draft and making tweaks. This is not surprising, considering the many characters that have been introduced as well as the storylines that have sprouted following the previous games.

For the actual game, Hill also revealed that the difficulty level can be adjusted anytime and anywhere as needed or wanted by the players. Attack of the Fanboy even spotted a tip from Hill. A combination of the R2/RT during a dash and dive on the rooftop will make a huge difference when playing “Batman: Arkham Knight.” And in another tweet, Hill mentioned that a date for the newest trailer may be coming sometime this week.

According to Hill, this game is set apart by the fact the team has worked on it longer and harder compared to previous Batman titles. This could be due to the fact that it has a more expanded world and explores a far more powerful villain than the Caped Crusader has ever faced.

This was expounded on by Gaz Deaves, social marketing manager for Rocksteady, in an interview with Gamingbolt. He stated that in terms of gadgets, abilities and even enemies, there is a sense of escalation that happen with every game. And with “Batman: Arkham Knight” being the final installment, the Arkham Knight as the villain makes him the peak most powerful that Batman has faced yet.

As far as the world is concerned, “Batman: Arkham Knight” will also bring out the big guns—which means that it will break away from Arkham City to the entirety of Gotham. The places that Batman can scale and explore have also expanded, in expanse and height. A bigger world also means a much higher one, vertically speaking. The addition of the Batmobile makes Batman’s actions even more dynamic, and gives you more choices and opportunities in tackling and taking down enemies.

There’s a lot to expect with “Batman: Arkham Knight,” and Rocksteady’s promise of going out with a bang for the franchise seems very much evident in what has been teased so far. In the meantime, players can enjoy the new batch of screenshots teased via the official Batman Arkham Twitter. There’s a new screenshot of Batman tackling down a thug, a close-up shot of the Batmobile and the Batmobile in action.
