According to E Online, the new FX show “The Bastard Executioner” revolves around the life of a knight who is set to quit fighting but later he is forced to take up the job of an executioner. The show is set in the early 14th century.

Sutter said in a statement that he loves technology, history and blood. He feels satisfying combining fiction and fact to make mythology that has blood, technology and history.

The show creator said that the cast of “The Bastard Executioner” is extraordinary and they would help him recreate the scenes on the screen.

He added that he loves working with Fox21TVS and FX and they been together for 15 years. Sutter stated that the companies have welcomed and embraced his “extremely disturbing storytelling sensibilities.”
