The Baltimore Ravens were proclaimed the 47th Super Bowl champion. The Ravens beat the San Francisco 49ers with a close game of 34-31.

The 47th Super Bowl game gave everyone an extreme adrenaline rush. But as the clock ticks to its final count, the Ravens swept the championship victory against another crowd favorite, the San Francisco 49ers.

The Ravens managed a swift comeback after finding themselves in a 22-point hole. Ravens quarterback Jacoby Jones pulled all his strings and led his team ahead with 21-3 during the first half of the game. Although 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick had his fair share of good plays, in the end it wasn't enough to bring his team to victory.

There were a couple of highlights during the game as expected like Flacco's wild TD pass. The Ravens player was under pressure and got lucky this time. Flacco validated himself while he threw an amazing touchdown pass to Jacoby Jones.

Another highlight was that of Colin Kaepernick's Touch Pass. Although the Ravens won this game, it won't be fair to leave out some incredible play displays from 49ers Kaepernick. Colin threw some nice passes during the first half including the 24-yard toss to Vernon Davis.

But one of the Ravens' incredible defenses was Ed Reed's block on Kaepernick. Reed seems to always be in the right place at the right time. This resulted to another advantage for the Baltimore's win.

But aside from the game, the Super Bowl was not complete without its halftime performances. Matchbox 20 and One Republic performed during halftime and shortly after was Beyoncé's highly anticipated show.

The pop superstar opened with her "Love on Track" single on a big stage that was specifically made for the singer. Apart from her medleys, she also reunited with her "Destiny's Child" bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams to sing some of their hits.

Now that Super Bowl has ended, fans are left to reminisce this year's successful game and wait again for next year for another superb American football experience.
