It’s time for the hometown dates, wherein Nick makes an attempt to get to know more the remaining contestants: Raven Gates, Vanessa Grimaldi, Rachel Lindsay and Corinne Olympios. After travelling across Arkansas, Texas and Florida in the US and Quebec in Canada, Nick and the final four head to New York City for the rose ceremony.

TV Guide reports that the eighth episode of Season 21 will also reveal an unexpected visitor who’ll drop by Nick’s hotel room and may change the game. Speaking of games, one contestant makes it clear to Nick that while she loves sports, she never likes playing games.

In a sneak peek for Monday’s episode posted on the official Facebook page of “The Bachelor,” Rachel L is seen briefing Nick before he visits her family in Dallas, Texas. The 31-year-old attorney reminds Nick that she’s a daddy’s girl. When Nick expresses his apprehensions on how her family would react toward him, Rachel reveals that while she has dated white guys before, she has never brought one home.

However, Rachel assures him that colour would not be an issue. She also advises him to be himself because the fact that she’s bringing him home means something. “They will be skeptical and they will ask questions but they know I’m smart, too,” she says. “I know what I’m here for and I know what I want.” The two ends the pep talk with a sweet smooch. To the cameras, Rachel shares, “Today feels like I’m on a vacation with my boyfriend. It was as easy as the breeze flowing through the bar.”

Reality Steve reports that before the rose ceremony takes place, “The Bachelorette” Season 10 star Andi Dorfman arrives to offer Nick some words of wisdom. Fans would remember that Nick was a runner-up in Andi’s edition of the reality show, wherein she chose Josh Murray. The two got engaged but ended their fairytale romance in a bitter breakup, which became the topic of Andi's controversial tell-all book, "It's Not Okay." Contrary to speculations that may arise, Reality Steve clarified that Andi is not after Nick – she’s just there to give some advice. The site also reveals that at the end of the episode, Nick will send home Corinne. Being eliminated may be doubly painful for the 24-year-old business owner, who tried but failed to seduce Nick while they were in the Bahamas in the previous episode.
