After this year’s “The Bachelor” takes Ben Higgins back to Warsaw, Indiana, it’s the ladies’ turn to tour him around their respective hometowns. The upcoming instalment promises another highly emotional episode, as Higgins travel across the country to get to know more about the final four contestants: Amanda Stanton, Caila Quinn, JoJo Fletcher and Lauren Bushnell.

As the race to Ben’s heart draws to a close, one more bachelorette will be eliminated by the end of the episode. Only three ladies will remain to be in the running to become Ben’s future bride.

TV Guide reports that on the eighth episode of Season 20, Ben packs his bag to go on hometown dates, meeting each lady’s family. He breaks down to tears after one family cast doubts about the certainty of his feelings, while a concerned dad puts him on the hot seat and interrogates him. Elsewhere, one contestant finds herself blindsided, as she learns something shocking.

ABC posted a sneak peek for Monday’s episode on its official YouTube page. It features Lauren B.’s father, who gives his first impression of Ben after meeting him in Portland, Oregon. “He seems like a great young man, but knowing that there are three other girls as part of this process – that’s hard,” he says. “No father wants to see their daughter’s heart broken.”

He expresses this concern to Lauren B., who wastes no time in building Ben up. “I feel very happy,” she gushes. “He’s the most likeable, genuine, honest, really good guy.” She continues by saying that Ben is exactly the person she’d like to spend her life with.

Her dad gets it, but still worries that they only have known each other for a short period of time. The fact that there are three other girls in the mix, as well as three other encounters, fuels his worries. “I don’t want my baby hurt,” he says.

In addition to Oregon, Ben travels to Orange County, CA Amanda’s hometown. He meets her two daughters, and immediately bonds with them, but her parents wonder if he can handle the responsibilities of being a full-time dad right away. Meanwhile, Caila allows Ben to know more about her, as she shares some beloved places in Hudson, Ohio. Her dad, however, seems to get in the way as he interrogates Ben to see whether he is worthy of his daughter. Ben also visits Dallas to meet JoJo, who finds herself dealing with an old flame that may threaten their budding romance.
