Avril Lavigne assured fans she is now feeling better by showing up looking healthy in a teaser for her new music video. The singer previously asked fans to include her in their prayers after she said she was battling a mystery illness.

Avril Lavigne has kept relatively quiet since September and Mail Online reported she once told a fan via Twitter back in December that she’s sick. Avril never disclosed her health issue nor confirmed or denied if the tweet was hers. However, the singer has now re-emerged looking healthy as she appears in a teaser for her new music video for her 2013 track “Give You What You Like.”

In the 30-second clip, Avril can be seen sporting a black brimmed hat and sitting on the floor in a room full of lighted candles. US magazine noted the 30-year-old Canadian looks healthy and well in the video, with her trademark long blonde hair falling straight down to her chest as she belted out the lyrics to her song.

On Monday, Feb. 2, Avril Lavigne tweeted the teaser to her fans as a surprise saying, “Ok I promised a surprise… #GiveYouWhatYouLike is featured on #BabysittersBlackBook premiering on @lifetimetv Feb 21.” Then she added, “You guys asked for it so I'm gonna #GiveYouWhatYouLike! Full video premieres soon on @Vevo but here's a little teaser.”

The full music video, which contains footage from the TV movie “Babysitter’s Black Book,” will reportedly premiere on Feb. 21 on the Lifetime channel. The movie’s soundtrack, “Give You What You Like," was taken from Avril Lavigne’s self-titled album from 2013. It’s said to be the same album that contains her hit songs “Here’s To Never Growing Up” and “Rock N Roll.”

According to MTV News, Avril Lavigne also announced last month she will be releasing another song called “Fly.” The singer sent a tweet to her 17 million Twitter followers on Jan. 8, saying she wrote the song in support of the Special Olympics. A new music video and a new song are said to be indications Avril is back for good, after tweeting of “having some health issues” back in December.
