Chris Evans has confirmed that filming for the two-part “Avengers: Infinity Wars” will begin in 2016 and that the two movies will be filmed back to back. The actor also talked about how playing the superhero affected him personally.

The role of the superhero Captain America is played by Chris Evans in the Marvel movies. The actor spoke to Esquire about playing the character and also about the upcoming “Avengers: Infinity Wars” movies, where the superheroes take on one of the biggest Marvel villains – Thanos.

Filming for the next “Avengers” movie is set to begin in either the fall or winter of 2016, Chris Evans revealed. The two movies will take about nine months to film. The actor added that he had to plan his life “around the Marvel responsibilities” and said that he still hasn’t decided whether to take up another directing or acting project in the “downtime” he gets after finishing “Captain America: Civil War.”

Playing Captain America, a character who is morally very upright, has had an impact on Chris Evans personally. “You hope to see some Steve qualities in you. He does set the bar pretty high,” the actor said. One way he uses Steve Rogers’ ideals in his personal life is by asking, “What would Steve do in this situation”?

But one character trait of Steve Rogers that may not have influenced Chris Evans is the superhero's need to watch his language. "I got a real bad potty mouth. I'm from Boston. That's kind of a way of life back there. They're a very expressive people," the actor explained in the interview.

The presence of Steve Rogers in “Avengers: Infinity Wars” suggests that the superhero may not die in the upcoming “Captain America: Civil War” movie where he fights his friend and ally Tony Stark. Readers should note, however, that Steve may be appearing in a flashback scene, in case the character dies in the next movie.

Chris Evans is expected to be joined by Chris Hemsworth, who plays Thor, in “Avengers: Infinity Wars.” The actor described Hemsworth as a “brother” who has had a similar “trajectory” in Hollywood. The two actors were supposedly “timid and nervous” at the beginning but later went on to star in their respective standalone movies that became big box office hits.
