The latest trailer of “Avengers: Age of Ultron” has provided the first look at the Paul Bettany’s character The Vision. In the final seconds of the trailer, The Vision is seen raising his head and opening his eyes. A yellow bulb can be seen shining on his forehead and his green eyeballs spin, as he appears to be waking up from sleep.

The Vision’s red skin is an interesting feature and according to reports Bettany had spent hours in the makeup room to achieve the peculiar look, according to Cinema Blend. The Vision is an android and is a part of Avengers team. In comic book, Ultron creates The Vision and sends him to the avengers with evil motives. Vision later gets romantically involved with Scarlett Witch. However, it is not known whether the same plotline will be followed in the film or not. It is predicted that The Vision might be created from JARVIS who is Tony Stark’s (Robert Downey Jr.) butler, according to the website.

However, Bettany had said in one his previous interview that he cannot reveal much about the rumoured relationship between The Vision and JARVIS. He said he is supposed to keep it “vague and mysterious," reported io9.

“I've got to say that the greatest thing about this job, for me, is that however much research I could do, I would never know as much about Vision and the world as Kevin Feige and Joss Whedon. The thing that appealed to me is that this sort of nascent creature is being born, being both omnipotent and totally naïve,” he added about his character.

Three trailers of the film have already been released and as a part of promotion strategy individual posters of each character has also been released.
