Joss Whedon, the director of “Avengers: Age of Ultron” recently teased out details about Paul Bettany’s much-anticipated character The Vision. The director said that Ultron will be creating The Vision.

Joss went on to praise Paul, saying that there are some qualities about the actor, which made him choose him. “I was like ,” Look at those cheekbones. Bettany’s the Vision. He has a stillness that goes beyond British, that is something just unique and emotive and he’s going to blow people away,” he said according to Marvel Entertainment. The Vision is an android and is Tony Stark’s assistant Jarvis. In the third trailer of the film, The Vision appears in the last scene where he is seen dressed in a red costume and has rolling eyeballs.

According to comicbook, The Vision is the member of avengers. He first made an appearance in Marvel Mystery Comics #13. The character is created by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby. Meanwhile, it is not known what will be the powers of The Vision. Paul said in one his previous interviews that The Vision can do all sort of things, reported Screen Rant. However, he did not get into the specific details of The Vision’s power.

Furthermore, Joss also spoke about the Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch and why he decided to include them in the film. Reportedly, he wanted to add the characters in the film who can change the game “emotionally” and “stylistically.” The storylines of Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver will be poetic and strange and the two of them will add much to the film’s palette.

“Avengers: Age of Ultron” is scheduled to be released on May 1, 2015. The film stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Cobie Smulders, Anthony Mackie, Hayley Atwell, Idris Elba, Stellan Skarsgård, James Spader and Samuel L. Jackson. Kevin Feige has produced the film and it is based on “The Avengers” by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Brian Tyler and Danny Elfman has given the music of the film and it will be distributed by Walt Disney Studious.
