‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ Trailer To Debut In October
The Comic-con paved way for fans to watch an exclusive video footage of "Avengers: Age of Ultron." However, with the movie set to premiere on May 1, 2015, it may be some time before an official movie trailer will be released. On the other hand, a recent report claims the trailer will supposedly debut in October along with Christopher Nolan's "Interstellar."
According to Movieweb, FilmPro Russian confirmed "Avengers: Age of Ultron" will release its first movie trailer on Nov. 7, when "Interstellar" opens in U.S. theatres. This information was reportedly revealed during a Warner Bros. exhibit held during the Cinema Expo in Russia. This is what the site had to say, as interpreted by Movieweb. "For fans of comic book movies, there is another motive to go see Interstellar. The first trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron will be attached."
However, Movieweb contests the trailer may debut on the last week of October, that is if FilmPro's claim is confirmed. Marvel has reportedly developed a habit of releasing full-length trailers a week before its movies hit theatres. Additionally, previous rumours have also hinted that fans may see the trailer soon. Marvel and Disney were speculated to have settled on a marketing strategy involving the release of its movie trailers a year before the premiere. As with "The Avengers," the preview debuted on Oct 2011 before its April 2012 release.
However, it's still uncertain whether the reported November trailer debut will be for Russia only or if it will also include other domestic countries. Likewise, Marvel or Disney has yet to confirm the report.
As previously discussed by the International Business Times, the first 20 minutes of "Avengers: Age of Ultron" picks up from the end scene of "Captain America: Winter Soldier." It will start off with an attack on Von Strucker's Hydra outpost. There fans will be introduced to the Maximoff twins, Wanda (Scarlet Witch) and Pietro (Quicksilver). Then a victory party will commence following the defeat of Von Strucker and the twins' capture.
The Avengers team heads to their new Avengers tower. "Captain America" saw the end of S.H.I.E.L.D. as the team's headquarters so Stark Towers becomes the new base for the Avengers. It's reportedly during the victory party that Ultron first emerges in skeletal form, where he tells the team that only through their extinction could peace be achieved on earth.
