It seems that Marvel once considered bringing back Emil Blonsky a.k.a. Abomination to "Avengers: Age of Ultron." Tim Roth, who once played the monstrous villain in "The Incredible Hulk," talked about his character and revealed the studio's initial plan.

The actor sat down with Crave Online to talk about his other movies, and the conversation led to his role as Abomination. Roth revealed that Marvel had considered having him reprise his role. He claimed the studio was certain they "were going to do it."

"They were thinking, in The Avengers 2 or something. There was a movie we could do that at one point, but way back when," he said.

However, the plan was eventually forgotten. As per Tim Roth, it "just kind of got swept under the carpet" but thought it would have been hilarious if Abomination was back in "Avengers: Age of Ultron."

According to Comicbook, none of the characters from "The Incredible Hulk" were included in the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe. Only Major Glenn Talbot, who reportedly has connections to Hulk's General Thunderbolt Ross, was featured in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," so it's supposedly unlikely for Roth to reprise his role in "Avengers: Age of Ultron." However, it's interesting to note that during last year's interview, the actor revealed he had signed on for three movies with Marvel.

According to Screenrant, Tim Roth was in attendance at Television Critics Association summer press tour in August 2013 where he talked about his TV series "Lie To Me." He was also asked about his connections with the studio. He admitted that Marvel has signed him up for three films, although he didn't reveal any further details regarding such films. If Abomination is not in "Avengers: Age of Ultron," then there are still more upcoming Marvel movies where he could possibly be featured, including "Captain America: Civil War."

While Tim Roth's future movie with Marvel is still uncertain at this point, fans of the 2008 "The Incredible Hulk" thought it best to include him in "Avengers: Age of Ultron." Few Comicbookmovie readers claimed it would have been awesome to see Abomination again in the sequel. Reader batz11 initially thought that it was the villain "going against the Hulkbuster in the leaked set videos," while reader ALmazing suggested the character would be best featured when the Avengers raid Hydra's base.
