The new poster of “Avengers: Age of Ultron” has been released and it confirms Anthony Mackie’s presence in the film. The actor’s name has been featured in the cast list of the film, which is printed on the official poster of the film. However, the poster does not feature the actor in his role of Falcon, which he will reportedly play in the film.

According to Cinema Blend, Mackie is confirmed to appear as Falcon in “Captain America: Civil War” and now with “Avengers: Age of Ultron’s” new poster it is confirmed that he will be seen along with other Avengers. The poster features Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Thor, Black Widow and other avengers. Mackie was previously seen as Falcon in “Captain America: Winter Soldier.”

According to comic book, Falcon is the first African-American superhero. He is the exceptional bird trainer and is a skilled martial artist and gymnast. He flies with the help of his wings. He also has the ability to see through the eyes of the birds flying adjacent to him. The character was created by Stan Lee and Gene Colan and first appeared in Captain America #117. In one of his previous interview, Mackie had said that he hopes to be in “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” Though he did not confirm anything that time.

“I hope I’m in Avengers 2, everyone will know it ’cause I’m gonna run through Times Square bu** a** naked with Avengers 2 tattooed across my chest. It’s a huge honor to be a part of the group of people they’ve put together,” he had said according to Screen Rant. The actor had also praised Marvel for casting those actors as superheroes who can bring the characters to life.

Meanwhile, “Avengers: Age of Ultron” is scheduled to release on May 1, 2015 in 2D and 3D. Joss Whedon has directed the film and it stars Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Cobie Smulders, Mackie, Hayley Atwell, Idris Elba, Stellan Skarsgård, James Spader and Samuel L. Jackson. The film will be followed by two sequels “Avengers: Infinity War Part 1” & “Avengers: Infinity War Part 1.”
