The trailer for “Avengers: Age of Ultron” recently released by Marvel shows all the Avengers assemble together to fight Ultron and his army. It may have also addressed questions on where siblings Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver’s loyalties lie, as it’s been speculated that they may turn against the team.

Jeremy Renner, in a previous interview with Fandango, made it clear that in "Avengers: Age of Ultron" Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver's loyalties still remain a "little blurry." However, some scenes in the recent trailer somehow show just which the twins side. Nearing the last scene in the fourth trailer, Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) in his crouching position tells Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, “If you step out that door you’re an Avenger.” The next series of scenes in the trailer may have just proved exactly which team the siblings are siding with in the film.

It seems Hawkeye’s statements had the siblings finally deciding whether they would be siding with the Avengers or with Ultron as Scarlet Witch is seen stepping “out that door” wielding her telekinetic powers. The next scene also shows Quicksilver speeding up to help Captain America (Chris Evans) fight Ultron.

These scenes from the fourth trailer somehow prove to disagree previous speculations that Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver’s loyalties lie with Ultron. According to Vox, the third trailer for “Avengers: Age of Ultron” has some sequences that somehow show the Maximoff twins are siding with the villain. At one point in the third trailer, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver are seen standing on a bridge with Ultron inside what looked like an abandoned building. A photo shared by Vox shows Thor, Captain America and Iron Man confronting them from across the bridge, with Iron Man looking like he’s about to lunge towards them. Then in another scene Quicksilver is seen fighting with Captain America.

There is also that scene in the third trailer where it shows Scarlet Witch casting some kind of spell on Black Widow. Movie director Joss Whedon had previously confirmed that Wanda Maximoff a.k.a. Scarlet Witch’s powers also involve mind control. A photo shared by Vox on its site shows Natasha Romanov’s eyes turning red after somehow being mentally manipulated by Scarlet Witch.

However, by the end of the third and fourth trailer for “Avengers: Age of Ultron” it shows Scarlet Witch fighting alongside the Avengers. However, as for Quicksilver it’s still uncertain if he has really switched sides to be with the heroes since he’s nowhere to be seen in the said fight scene.
