It seems fans will have a different look at the “Avengers: Age of Ultron” if the recent reports are confirmed. The home release version of the sequel is rumoured to have an alternate ending and will even be longer than its theatre-release counterpart.

The U.K. site for Amazon accidentally revealed what’s featured in the DVD and Blu-ray version of “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” Screencrush managed to get a screengrab of the online retailer’s email to a customer from the U.K., who has in the past shown an interest on the “Avengers” franchise. On its message, Amazon revealed that the home release version of the sequel is already available for pre-order and that it will include an “extended version and alternate ending.”

It’s likely the DVD and Blu-ray release of the film would ran longer than the final theatrical running time. Movie director Joss Whedon had reportedly previously confirmed the original cut of “Avengers: Age of Ultron” is three hours long.

It remains to be seen what will be included in the DVD and Blu-ray release. According to Comicbookmovie, a lot of scenes in the trailer didn’t make it to the final film, including that with the black woman in the cave. Per Screencrush viewers may see her in the home release version of the film considering her scene didn’t make it to the final cut.

Amazon’s email also mentioned an alternate ending for “Avengers: Age of Ultron” in the DVD and Blu-ray copies. No specific details were revealed although there have been previous reports of the cinema version ending with Hulk floating in space inside the Quinjet [SPOILER ALERT].

“Avengers: Age of Ultron” is already out in theatres in selected Asian countries and to confirm reports, the sequel does end with Hulk in space. The green giant felt terrible and blamed himself for the destruction he’s caused in Wakanda, after he was mind-controlled by Scarlet Witch. Thus, he thought the only way to avoid causing more damage and even possibly hurting the Avengers was to steer clear away from them. So Hulk jets off into space inside the Quinjet, even after Scarlet Witch tries to give him his “lullaby.”
