There have been recent speculations that Black Panther could be featured in "Avengers: Age of Ultron." This was reportedly hinted by Andy Serkis' appearance in the movie's recently released teaser trailer. The actor's look as seen in the video below (around the 1:30 time mark) allegedly resembles Black Panther's arch-nemesis, Ulysses Klaw. According to Comicbook, chances are Black Panther would also be featured because of Serkis' rumoured character in the sequel.

While this information is yet to be confirmed, it's interesting to note some previous reports comparing Black Panther's powers with that of Ultron. Moviepilot previously asserted that Ultron is less powerful than Black Panther.

Black Panther hails from his African homeland in Wakanda. One of Wakanda's prized resources is vibranium, the very same metal Tony Stark uses to create his arc reactor. Vibranium is believed to be stronger than adamantium, that which comprises Ultron's physique in "Avengers: Age of Ultron." In order to defeat the A.I., Stark would need a far better suit, apparently one that's made of vibranium.

Furthermore, Black Panther is believed to be an opulent character. His riches can rival that of Tony Stark's unlimited wealth, according to writer Peter Matthews. His riches could supposedly eventually lead him to replace Tony Stark (Iron Man) as the leader of the Avengers. An infographic provided by Moviepilot draws some comparisons between Black Panther's wealth with that of the other seven rich characters from Marvel and DC combined. He's believed to be five times richer than DC's Batman and Lex Luthor, Dr. Doom, Green Arrow, Professor Xavier and even the latter's friend, Magneto.

Black Panther's rumoured appearance in "Avengers: Age of Ultron" could mark a possible spinoff movie. Stan Lee even previously addressed this and was believed to have confirmed the stand-alone film. Guardianlv claims the 91-year old revealed that the movie "has already gone into development." Denzel Washington even expressed his desire to take on the title role. However, his admission reportedly received criticisms because of his age as the actor is believed to be too old to play the young hero. Idris Elba and Djimon Hounsou, meanwhile, were perceived fit to portray the character.
