Mark Ruffalo’s character Hulk will be seen playing a major part in “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” According to director Joss Whedon, Hulk has more screen time in the sequel than he had in “The Avengers.” Whedon spoke about Mark’s character in his recent interview to SFX magazine and said that while directing the film it was a “mission” to “shoot Hulk like a character.”

“We built the Hulk, so for god’s sake, you’re going to watch him in this long take, full frame, the whole time!’ We really got to make him one of the characters in the movie,” said Whedon to the magazine as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. Moreover, the recently released trailer of the film has also given interesting peek at Hulk who is shown fighting the flying robots. The epic fight between Hulk and Iron Man is also shown. It shows Hulk punching Iron Man as they both fly in the air. The Hulk is an alter ego of Bruce Banner who is an emotionally withdrawn physicist. He turns into large green humanoid under stress.

According to comics, Hulk has limitless superhuman strength, which grows as he becomes angrier. The character first appeared in Incredible Hulk#1. Stan Lee and Jack Kirby have created him. Meanwhile, the latest trailer of “Avengers: Age of Ultron” also gives a glimpse at the growing intimacy between Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Bruce Banner/Hulk. In one of the shots, they both are shown drawing close to each other and looking intensely into each other’s eyes. In the film, Black Widow will “protect” Hulk, as revealed by Mark. He also revealed that Scarlett’s character will become Bruce Banner/Hulk’s bodyguard, reported Entertainment Weekly.

Mark has also said in one of his previous interviews to Empire that Hulk will be a more mature individual in “Avengers: Age of Ultron” and the dynamics between Banner and Hulk will be better. “Avengers: Age of Ultron” is scheduled to be released on May 1, 2014. The film will be released in 3D and IMAZ 3D. The star cast of the film includes Robert Downey Jr., Ruffalo, Johansson, Paul Bettany, Chris Evans and others.
