Zac Efron is back with a new movie entitled 'The Lucky One' and he arrives in the land of Down Under with numerous Aussie fans screaming their hearts out for their idol as if they won the lottery!

There were others who waited for even up to nine hours just to meet the actor who first became such a big hit for his lead role in Disney's 'High School Musical.' Many of his fans even described him as somewhat 'unreal' as they chant out Efron's name in a loud and energetic manner.

The young male star said that he considers Australia as a place that is very close to his heart. He even said that he sees them still as sweet 'California girls.' This is already Efron's 8th time to visit Australia and he feels grateful with how all his Aussie fans never fail to show him much enthusiasm.

Zac's Transformation for 'The Lucky One'

Everyone remembers Zac with the 'Bieber-like' hair during the days of the movies of 'High School Musical,' along with ex-girlfriend on and off screen Vanessa Hudgens. For this new romance movie directed by Scott Hicks, the Australian director behind the hit movie 'Shine,' Efron had to gain nine kilos of more muscle to play the role of a young marine.

The story is based on another hit novel of Nicholas Sparks who is also the author behind 'The Notebook' and 'A Walk To Remember.' He stars with a new star Taylor Schilling who as the director describes her as the one who shares such perfect chemistry with Efron.

'The Lucky One' will hit the Australian big screen by April 19.
