“Attack on Titan Wings of Freedom” seems to be shaping up better despite the lack of recent concrete updates.

Developer Koei Tecmo had released two new videos of the game. The first one involves a 20-minute gameplay experience that highlights Mikasa in a demo version. The demo shows the three modes, as well as the controls that can be used when playing the game.

The scene appears to hark back to the event when an Abnormal had aimed to attack citizens who are escaping from the titan attacks. From here, players are able to experience killing titans and abnormals to save the townspeople. The rest of the footage can be seen here.

Fans who are looking to play Koei Tecmo’s “Attack on Titan Wings of Freedom” may need to make sure that they want to go beyond the material that was shown in the first season of the anime.

According to Shacknews, Koei Tecmo has confirmed that the storyline will include some bits and scenes outside of the anime. The launch trailer, seen below also shows this

The trailer does show the events leading to the end of the first season’s anime. And for those who haven’t been reading the manga, there is one particular unfamiliar Abnormal that is actual crucial in the storyline. Just how far into the manga material the storyline will take remains to be seen.

Players will also be fighting the Armoured Titan, which would require a number of strategies due to his Abnormal quality.

With just a few days before release, there are no announcements yet on whether the developer will bring a demo version to the stores for people to try out.

“Attack on Titan Wings of Freedom” will be released on the PC, PS4, PS3, PS Vita and Xbox One on Aug. 30 in North America. European fans will get it some days earlier on Aug. 26.
