Samsung is expected to unveil its upcoming flagship Galaxy S7 series at the Samsung Unpacked 2016 event scheduled for Feb. 21. Fresh rumours suggest AT&T is already testing two new Samsung smartphones.

Renowned leakster Evan Blass @evleaks on Twitter revealed AT&T is testing two new Samsung phones with the model numbers SM-G930A and SM-G935A expected to be the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. This news confirms the phones are going to be launched in the first quarter of 2016.

Samsung may also launch the smartphones at the Mobile World Congress 2016 from Feb. 22 to Feb. 25 in Barcelona. The company is expected to come up with both flat and top-to-bottom curved screen displays just like Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.

Samsung will also introduce a Galaxy S7 Premium Edition with a 4K display, dual-lens camera unit by Sony and a different version of the recently launched Exynos 8 Octa 8890 chipset, according to Phone Arena. The second version the chipset will reportedly come with a Mali-T880 with 14 cores for graphics. The Galaxy S7 Premium Edition will only be offered in South Korea.

The newly released Exynos 8 Octa 8890 chipset could power all the variants of the Galaxy S7 around the globe except in the U.S. and China. In those markets, the Korean tech giant plans to unveil the new Galaxy S7 series with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor on board.

Along with Synaptic, Samsung is also slated to bring in its own version of touch sensitive technology called ClearTouch. The new range is also expected to house USB C-Type ports and 20 MP rear facing camera modules. The standard Galaxy S7 might feature a 5.2-inch screen with 3 GB of RAM.
