The launch event ‘Zevolution’ can be live streamed via official Asus YouTube channel.

According to prevailing rumours, the upcoming three handsets include the ZenFone 3, ZenFone 3 Deluxe and ZenFone 3 Max.

Meanwhile, the rumoured ZenFone 3 is said to have passed the AnTuTu benchmark test with a Snapdragon 820 SoC and 4GB of RAM on board. The benchmark results were posted on Weibo.

The Asus smartphone listed on AnTuTu comes with a model number Z016D, which is said to be the ZenFone 3. According to the benchmark listing, the ZenFone 3 will arrive with Android 6.0 Marshmallow pre-installed.

There is no information on the battery size of the purported ZenFone 3 handset.

The smartphone will flaunt a Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display and tout a 23-megapixel rear camera alongside an 8-megapixel front snapper for selfies. Along with the ZenFone 3 specs details, the Weibo user also revealed that the smartphone scores 135,000 points on AnTuTu.

Last week, Asus CEO Jerry Shen clarified that in 2016, 90 percent of the ZenFone 3 smartphones will be powered by a Qualcomm processor as compared to only 10 percent devices with a MediaTek chipset onboard. Shen also predicted that two-thirds of the global ZenFone 3 family shipments will be accounted by the ZenFone 3 Max handset.
