The Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe Special Edition will be out in September. However, it will only be available in Brazil.

To date, it remains unclear whether the Taiwanese tech company's latest flagship smartphone will be launched in the U.S. market or if it will even make its way across the border to North America, as pointed out in Asus Fanaticos. According to Tech Times, the likeliness that the unit will be released in other markets will largely depend on its sales performance in Brazil, in addition to its production costs for a potential market in the U.S.

Avid users of Asus devices are well-aware that the company is more focused on performance than style. That said, its Zenfone line has become one of the popular smartphone series.

The Zenfone 2 was first introduced into the tech market in the Cosumer Electronics event, which was held in January. The Zenfone 2 Deluxe Special Edition and the original Zenfone 2 are relatively the same units. The only difference that they have with one another is the massive storage space that the formerly mentioned model offers as well as a MicroSD card slot that may be used for an additional 128 GB.

One of the biggest reasons the tech users have turned to the Zenfone 2 as their smartphone of choice is its built-in 256 GB storage, which happens to be the biggest storage space to be given to a smartphone, without the need of a MicroSD card. The absence of the MicroSD card slot is not something that is new to the industry, considering that lots of brands have opted to forego this particular feature.

Considering that it boasts the same features that its predecessor has, the Zenfone 2 Deluxe Special Edition is reportedly expected to be a great smartphone choice as well come September. It also features a 2.5 GHz 64-bit Intel Atom z3580 processor and 4 GB of RAM. Rivalling the screens of other brands, it sports a 5.5-inch screen display with full HD 1,080 x 1,920 pixel resolution and a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 cover.
