Asus has unveiled its latest ZenFone and ZenPad models at its Zen festival held in New Delhi, India. While the company announced the worldwide launch of ZenFone Max, its other models, namely, ZenFone 2 Deluxe, ZenFone Selfie, ZenFone 2 Laser, ZenPad 7.0 and ZenPad 8.0 have made their debut in India only, according to reports.

The ZenFone Max is the latest addition to the company’s ZenFone family. In its official press release, Asus said, the new ZenFone Max features a high-capacity 5000mAh lithium-polymer battery, which means the phone would offer longer battery life. It also sports a 5.5-inch IPS display with wide viewing angles, which is guarded by the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 4, which would ensure resistance from scratches or damages. The ZenFone Max will be powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with up to 2GB of RAM. Other key features include a 13 megapixel rear camera along with laser auto-focus and f/2.0 aperture and a 5 megapixel front camera.

Alongside, Asus took the wraps off the ZenFone 2 Deluxe, ZenFone Selfie, ZenFone 2 Laser, ZenPad 7.0 and ZenPad 8.0 but currently, these devices have been targeted at Indian markets only. The ZenFone 2 sports a new multifaceted polygonal design alongwith a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display, 13MP/5MP PixelMaster cameras, 2.3GHz 64-bit Intel Atom processor with 4GB RAM and 4G/LTE connectivity.

The ZenFone 2 Laser gets a auto-focus technology in its 13MP PixelMaster camera. It is available in 5-inch, 5.5-inch and 6-inch versions with up to 1920 x 1080-pixel Full HD resolution. Besides that, it features the latest and toughest Corning Gorilla Glass 4 and an up to octa-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with up to 3GB of fast memory. The ZenFone Selfie sports a twin 13MP PixelMaster cameras and a dual-color, dual-LED Real Tone flash at both front and rear.

Asus also expanded its tablet lineup with the ZenPad 7.0 and ZenPad 8.0. While the ZenPad 7.0 is a 7-inch tablet, the ZenPad 8.0 is an 8-inch tablet. The company claims that both the tablets are the first tablets in the world to integrate DTS-HD Premium Sound for delivering better sound experience.
