Xbox One players will need to set aside some massive space for Ubisoft’s upcoming title “Assassin’s Creed Syndicate.” The developer has revealed the file size download for the game alongside the confirmation of the digital preorder availability of the game on the Xbox One.

As seen in the official Xbox Store page, “Assassin’s Creed Syndicate weighs a massive 40.27GB. This means Xbox One gamers need to take certain precautions before attempting to download a game of such a massive file size. The huge file size will require sufficient storage space and access to high-speed, stable Internet connection for a successful download.

Major Nelson also announced via his official blog that the Xbox One digital version of the game is available for pre-order. The game is available in two variants. The Standard Pre-Order Edition of the game is available to players for $59.00 while the Gold Edition would cost $89.00.

Both the Standard and Gold editions include the base game and an additional gameplay level titled “Assassin’s Creed Syndicate – The Darwin and Dickens Conspiracy.” Some of the perks exclusive to the Gold Edition include an additional mission titled “Assassin’s Creed Syndicate: A Long Night” and the exclusive Huntsman Outfit for the game. It also includes a Season Pass.

DLCs have gained popularity in recent times, and almost every major video game developer releases add-on post-launch. Getting a season pass would be profitable in the long run since it secures access to future DLCs that might be released by Ubisoft in the future.

Currently, the Season Pass for the game provides access to exclusive perks and additional content including “The Jack the Ripper” expansion, the exclusive “A Long Night” mission, Two top-tier sets of gear and weapons, “The Last Maharaja” mission pack, a permanent XP boost, 500 Helix Credits to purchase additional in-game content and “The Streets of London” gameplay pack.

Ubisoft has not yet disclosed the file sizes for the PlayStation 4 and PC versions. The game is scheduled to release on Oct. 23 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A PC version of the game will available to gamers on Nov. 19.
