According to People.com, the most popular power couple in movie land, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, alternatively known as Brangelina, has contributed almost $7mil for various charity organizations last year. The 45 year-old Pitt together with the mother of his three biological offspring and three other adopted children, 34 year-old Jolie, has set up the Jolie-Pitt Foundation to raise money and donate the collection to Non-Profit Organizations such as Global Health, the Human Rights Watch and the Armed Services YMCA.

Not only that, Pitt's separate foundation, 'Make It Right' which is targeted to the reconstruction of the New Orleans Lower 9th Ward, received a $1 million donation. The foundation's ultimate goal is to build at least 150 afforadable green storm resistant houses for the thousands of displaced Hurricane Katrina victims.

Jolie, who portrays a US interrogator mistaken for a Russian assasin in her next action flick 'Salt' out next year, donated $1 mil to her first adopted child, Maddox's homeland, Cambodia. Jolie who famously sold photographs of her new-born, Shiloh Nouvel, to Getty Images and Britain's Hello magazine for $4.1mil and $3.5mil respectively, donated the money to unidentified charity organizations. Aside from that, the Goodwill Ambassador for UN Refugee Agency exchanged the first images of her twins, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline for a total of $14 mil with People and Hello tabloids, which made the images the most expensive ever to be purchased by a magazine.
