Editors at CNET UK were once great fans of Apple's iPhone, which took the mobile world by storm since its launch, but opinions don't last forever apparently.
In June, the iPhone was highly rated and was picked as the editor's choice but the people at CNET UK are taking those words back.
CNET UK's Flora Graham says, "The iPhone may be the greatest handheld surfing device ever to rock the mobile Web, and a fabulous media player to boot. It may be the highest-rated mobile phone on CNET UK, rocking the pockets of half of our crack editorial team. It's certainly the touch screen face that launched a thousand apps. But as an actual call-making phone, it is rubbish, and we aim to prove it."
According to Graham, the iPhone, despite being the world's most popular smart phone, is inaudible, unconnected and a health hazard to users. However CNET UK did acknowledge the iPhone as one of the most advanced handheld computing device available out there in the market but falls short of a fantastic phone.
