The Macquarie aggregation business is working towards a mid-November start date, Broker news has been told.
In response to yesterday's story (Macquarie aggregation: what's happening?) a source close to the deal confirmed the new aggregator was "still moving forward" with "key points being finalised".
"All the agreements are here. We are just going through the legalities," Broker news was told.
Besides the three aggregation groups already mentioned in media reports, Broker news understands there are "peripheral" discussions with two or three other groups about joining the business.
