Naval Sailors Accused of Playing Sex Games for Money

Shocking Allegations of Navy Sex Games

Four members of the HMAS Success Company are accused of setting up sex competitions for money.

Prime Minister Kevin Rudd calls these allegations disturbing. The Defense Department will investigate the complaints and Rudd says if the claims are confirmed, appropriate action will take place, "These alleged behaviors are disturbing but it's important to get to the facts of it all," he said.

The sailors are accused of running contests to see who could sleep with the most female crew members. Records were allegedly kept in a book known as 'The Ledger' and each woman had a specific dollar amount associated with her, with more money placed on officers and lesbians. The sailors also allegedly dared each other to have sex in multiple locations.

Deputy Prime Minister Ms Gillard told Channel Ten she wanted a full investigation so women did not feel excluded from serving their country.

"As a nation ... we've been saying for a long period of time we want men and women to be able to join the Army, the Navy, the Air Force and to have good careers in it," she said.

"We don't want to see anything that precludes women from having a good career in our armed forces if that's what they choose to do with their lives.
