Sydney - Tensions seem to be reaching boiling point between Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, with the much ballyhooed couple reportedly getting into a verbal stoush that ended with Katie taking baby Suri to Ohio to spend time with family there, sans Tom.
This latest conflagration comes as the Melbourne media is all abuzz with talk about the Cruise family seeking out some high-profile Toorak mansions to base themselves while Katie films Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark, which starts filming July this year.
A mansion owned by Andrew Fox, head of the Linfox Property Group, was one of the properties apparently under consideration. In response to the speculation, Mr. Fox said: "I can absolutely, categorically say no to that. They're certainly not staying at our place."
But with the internet abound with reports of the recent heightened rancor between the Hollywood power couple, Katie and Suri may travel to Melbourne without Tom if the two don't reconcile after what was described by US magazine Life & Style Weekly as a bitter stoush marked by fiery vocal exchanges.
The couple allegedly had a "huge argument" which ended with Katie declaring, "Im doing this and you cant stop me." Her rep denies the story.
This latest episode in the TomKat saga may be giving Holmes second thoughts on the marriage. A "confidant" of hers told the mag: "Katies very unhappy and beginning to realize she may have made a major mistake being with Tom."
