Jon Bon Jovi, a partner in the Arena Football League, is being sued along with other League officials by a former sales manager for the Philadelphia Soul.

Joseph Krause of Jenkintown alleges that rock singer Bon Jovi and other team officials told employees they would receive two weeks of severance pay which totals to $125,000 in wages, according to the Associated Press.
The former employee filed suit in December, alleging that Bon Jovi and the other parties "worked off the ... Soul's success to promote themselves in all of their many other business, financial and cultural enterprises, and in establishing … and sustaining (in the case of Bon Jovi) themselves as celebrities."
Krause says he is owed commissions of more than $83,000 for the 2008 season and over $41,000 for the canceled 2009 season due to a tougher economic environment.
The complaint also states that the Soul's profits grew from less than $2 million to nearly $3.2 million in the time Krause worked for the team.
