Men's Magazine Esquire named actress Halle Berry the "2008 Sexiest Woman Alive," on Tuesday, as the publication celebrates its 75th anniversary.

The actress - who won an Oscar in 2002 for her role in the film "Monster's Ball" - replied with a personal letter to the magazine sharing her thoughts on the title and the things she considers sexy.
"Well, I don't know exactly what it means, but being forty-two and having just had a baby, I think I'll take it. There are billions of women on the planet, but let's just say for sh-s and giggles that I am the sexiest woman alive," Berry wrote.
Esquire gave actress Charlize Theron the same title in 2007 and Scarlett Johansson the same title in 2006.
