David Duchovny's sex addiction rehab was completed "successfully," the actor's lawyer said in a statement Monday.
Duchovny, 48, voluntarily entered a facility for the treatment of sex addiction in August.
Duchovny's attorney Stanton "Larry" Stein did not specify how long the actor was in rehab but confirmed he is "out" and will start to work on his new movie "The Joneses" which reportedly will debut in 2009, according to Reuters.
He starred on TV as Fox Mulder in the series "The X-Files" and now ironically portrays a sex obsessed character in the cable television series "Californication."
He has been married to actress Tina Leoni since 1997 and the couple has two children, Madelaine West, 9, and Kyd, 6.
