A dark and gritty new trailer of “Arrow” Season 5 has been released online. The video shows some of the deaths and action sequences featured in the new season, and the fans are excited about how the TV series is going back to its roots of the first two seasons.

[Spoiler Alert]

There is a lot of action and blood in the new trailer. Most of the action is centered around Oliver (Stephen Amell). The character can be seen taking on the bad guys, and in the process getting punched a couple of times too. Commenting on the video one of the fans said that this was a trailer that finally got him “hyped” about the new season.

While Oliver works hard to clean up the streets of Star City, there is another vigilante who has his own methods when it comes to dealing with criminals. The police will find bodies on the streets, which is believed to be the work of a “different vigilante.”

The main plot of the new season is about Oliver recruiting a new team to help with fighting crime. The “Arrow” Season 5 trailer shows Curtis Holt (Echo Kellum), Evelyn Sharp (Madison McLaughlin) and Wild Dog (Rick Gonzalez) as the new members of the superhero team. The new heroes are all inspired by Oliver, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) points out.

As far as Olicity is concerned, the two characters are not expected to get back together quickly. Felicity can be seen kissing someone in the trailer, who doesn’t appear to be Oliver. She will be getting a new love interest this time around.

So, Oliver will manly focus his energies in running the city as the new Mayor, to the best of his ability, and fight crime on the streets as the superhero. The Mob will rise as the new criminal element that the heroes will have to counter in the new season.

Oliver will have some help in dealing with his problems in “Arrow” Season 5. Amell teased a picture of his character with Supergirl (Melissa Benoist).
