“The team try to protect the city in the Arrow's absence and fear the worst may have befallen their friend. But Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) refuses to believe Oliver could be dead, until Merlyn (John Barrowman) pays the team a surprise visit,” reads the episode synopsis of Arrow 3x10 on TV.com.

“Meanwhile, Ray (Brandon Routh) tests a part of his new suit; and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) takes up the mantel of the Black Canary,” the synopsis adds. An extended promo video for Arrow Season 3, Episode 10 is available on the show’s Facebook page.

Here are the Arrow 3x10 extended promo highlights:

- A hooded figure drags Oliver Queen’s seemingly lifeless body from where it dropped at the end of Arrow Season 3, Episode 9 – the show’s fall finale.

-Malcolm Merlyn presents to the Arrow Team the weapon used by Ra’s al Ghul (Matt Nable) to kill Oliver Queen. Merlyn tells Felicity, Dig (David Ramsey), and Arsenal (Colton Haynes): “Oliver Queen is dead.”

-Ray Palmer tests a segment of his ATOM suit.

-Thea Queen (Willa Holland) throws an arrow into her biological father, Malcolm. (It is not clear whether she knew her target.)

-The new Black Canary suits up. (Caity Lotz, who played Sara Lance/the first Canary on the show, has earlier posted the new Canary costume on her Instagram page, saying it looks good on Cassidy.)

-“I don’t know what happens next,” says Diggle.

There have been several speculations on what happens next to Oliver Queen. Maseo Yamashiro (Karl Yune) is believed to have been placed in Arrow Season 3, Episode 9 so he could later take Oliver to DC Comics’ Lazarus Pit.

Other viewers believe Ra’s al Ghul himself would take Oliver Queen to his Lazarus Pit. Ra’s mentions in Arrow 3x9 that it has been 67 years since anyone has challenged him in a duel. This revelation is a wide opening to his own fountain, or pit of youth.
