Singer Ariana Grande, who has a recurring role in the upcoming FOX’s American horror-comedy anthology series “Scream Queens,” has teased her role on Instagram. She shared a photo of herself blowing a bubblegum, just like Emma Roberts did in the teaser video. Grande is expected to play a sorority girl.

In the ‘Chanel Bubblegum’ teaser video, Roberts is seen coming out of a sorority house and blowing a bubblegum bubble. The full-size bubble reveals a scary surprise at the end of the teaser.

Meanwhile, “Scream Queens” is creating quite a buzz. It recently hit the headlines when rumours swirled that there is tension between co-stars Grande and Roberts because of former’s diva-like behaviour. FOX has put a quick end to this rumour by releasing a statement.

“Ariana Grande is currently on tour and has yet to hit the stages of Scream Queens. These rumours are false and we look forward to working with her,” FOX’s rep. said, as quoted by Z103.fm.

Created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan, the 15-episode “Scream Queens” revolves around a college campus rattled by a series of murders. Murphy had said that the new show will focus on the “world’s meanest sorority.” In his interview with ET, Murphy has said each episode of “Scream Queens” is like a “murder mystery.” He also hinted that each week someone is going to be killed and everybody has a motive to kill. The final episode is going to reveal the identity of the killer.

In addition to Roberts and Grande, Jamie Lee Curtis, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer, Nick Jonas and Lucien Laviscount have also signed on to appear in the crazy, scary new show on FOX. “Glee” star Michele has said that her role is completely different from what she has done before. “True Blood” alum Joe Manganiello was supposed to play one of the leading roles but he reportedly pulled out because of his commitment to his upcoming film “Magic Mike XXL.” Oliver Hudson has been roped in to take his place.

The new anthology series will follow Murphy’s “American Horror Story” format of returning with new characters, new setting and new story each season. “Scream Queens” is set to premiere this fall.
