After countless sexy performances, reports claim Ariana Grande is trying to be the Nickelodeon version of Miley Cyrus. However, the "Problem" singer has now spoken up slamming such claims. If anything, Grande claims she is "not trying to be Miley."

Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande have both become more than just their Disney and Nickelodeon counterparts respectively. While Cyrus has been known to be the international twerk queen, Grande is touted as the next Mariah Carey. Of course, some critics just can't help but compare both stars to one another. Yet, Grande is having nothing of it.

"There are so many comparisons for girls in this industry, it's annoying. I'm not thinking: 'Miley Cyrus is doing this so I ought to do this, too.' We are all trying to do our own things and be successful in our own right," stated Grande in an exclusive interview with the Daily Star.

Unlike Miley who has undergone a scandalous change, Grande is taking things at a slower pace. Of course, "Arianators" shouldn't expect Grande to cross her restrictions. For now, the 21-year old is enjoying the fun creating and experiencing new things.

"I'm always excited by people evolving, changing and growing up. I just get to showcase it on stage ... In the past month things have changed drastically in my life. I can't go out with a little bun on my head and no make-up any more," continued Grande.

Hopefully, Grande's statements would be enough to stop the comparisons between her and Miley Cyrus. From style to music sense, the former Nickelodeon star proves she's different if not better. Check out the slideshow to see more of the "Problem" singer, Ariana Grande.
