Fans of Ariana Grande might not be able to see more of her on Nickelodeon. Rumour has it that the "Sam & Cat" star announced that she plans on quitting her acting career. Is she following in Justin Bieber's footsteps and planning to retire at an early age?

The rumour mill has started up once again and this time Ariana Grande is the victim. According to reports, the "Sam & Cat" star has plans to quit the acting biz.

"I never liked acting. I auditioned for TV just to get a platform to get a record deal, but then I fell in love with acting because it was fun," says Grande in a report by Complex magazine.

"After I'm done playing Cat Valentine I don't see myself doing much acting. But I would like to do a scary movie, or a musical," continues the red-head star.

Thankfully, Ariana Grande cleared up the rumours on her Twitter account causing "Arianators" to breathe a sigh of relief.

"apparently I'm "retiring from acting" but that's not true. :) just thought I'd clear that up, definitely a rumor... moooorning loves," stated Grande on her Twitter.

So aside from clearing up rumours, what has been keeping the "Baby I" singer busy? Well, it certainly isn't Nathan Sykes, her boyfriend, but her musical career instead. The 20-year old singer has quite the hectic schedule these past few weeks.

Recently, Grande was spotted performing for the Jingle Ball and the Thanksgiving Day parade for Macy's. She's currently promoting her Christmas album, "Christmas Kisses." As of late, Grande was last seen at Boca Raton before heading back home to spend the holidays with her family.

"Christmas shopping for gifts for my family and we walked past this Just Dance X Box thing in the mall and my song was on lol :) Pretty sure we failed @jonescrow," wrote Grande on her Twitter account.

So is there a chance for "Nariana" to reunite by the holidays? Fans of the cute couple are hoping so. As for Nathan Sykes, the singer was last seen at Montreal, Canada along with his boy band mates from The Wanted.
