Crazy rumours claim that the iPhone 6S could arrive as early as spring next year and might coincide with the much anticipated launch of the Apple Watch. Some say that Apple is hesitant about launching the iWatch without a new iPhone to go with it, since consumers might have the excuse to wait on buying both until fall.

Currently, consumers are still replacing their old iPhones with the extremely popular iPhone 6 models but that certainly isn't enough to remove the anticipation on the release of the 6S and the new iPhone 7 by 2015, according to The Stabley Times. The faster speculative updates are part of a "condensed six-month release timetable going forward" that Apple is following not only to match the more frequent releases from Samsung but also to help in the increase of iPhone sales when the iWatch launches in the spring.

News of the two-cycle launch schedule has not been confirmed by Apple. However, sources close to the tech giant recently revealed that aside from the hesitation of Apple execs have about releasing the Apple Watch without a new iPhone handset to back it up, it also appears to be more of a marketing approach that has something to do with sales. Two distinct launches mean two distinct sales periods, which could mean significant boost in sales across a year-long period.

But then again, Apple is in a comfortable and luxurious position of setting its own timeline for its product launches. If the company is truly worried about introducing the Apple Watch at the same time with the new iPhone, then it might wait until September of 2015, when the next iPhone 7 is more likely to arrive.

If the tech giant would decide to launch the iPhone 6S in six months and the iPhone 7 a little later, the repercussion would be critics might find such launch as overkill, While other spectators say that it is quite early in the decision process and that Apple might still change its mind. Tim Cook might still decide to break away from its usual patterns.

In different news, owners of the iPhone 6 have reported bending problems with the new device when they place the device inside their pockets. The alleged phone bending is not the first time that a potential problem was encountered by new iPhones, E-Week reports.
