Apple has its special annual event next week, and it has a set of new iPhones to unveil. However, it looks like the company will also be giving the public a sneak peek into its plus-sized iPad Pro.

9To5Mac is convinced that Apple will be unveiling both the much awaited iPad Pro and the new iPad Mini 4 in next week's event. This tip had apparently come from the online publication's "trusted sources." This new report is in contrary to earlier reports that Apple will only be unveiling the said tablet devices later in the year.

CNET has reported that two-thirds of the company's revenue comes from iPhone sales, and the number of times iPad units have been purchased have declined year over year for the past six years in a row. Apple's decision to come up with a bigger iPad Pro device might be the company's move to appeal to business users who want to access their files on a much bigger and wider screen.

Usually, Apple unveils its iPhone devices in September and gives away news about its iPad units in another event that is held in October. However, considering that the Sept. 9 event will take place in San Francisco's Bill Graham auditorium - which can house up to 7,000 people - Apple might want to make the iPad Pro announcement there.

Buzz Feed has previously reported that it Apple is going to launch a new 12.9-inch iPad Pro alongside a new iPhone model and a new Apple TV. According to the report, this trio unveiling will be on Sept. 9 - a detail that the publication got right. However, it remains unclear whether or not the rest of the tip will turn out to be true.

This 12.9-inch iPad Pro will reportedly feature a high resolution screen display. Plus, it may also have speakers on both of its sides. The iPad Mini 4, meanwhile, will be much thinner and faster than its predecessor.
