Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO had arrived in India to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the previous week to plan on the future of Apple products in the country. He met many influential people in India including the popular Bollywood actor, Emraan Hashmi. A tweet from the actor has revealed that Apple may soon release the Apple VR device.

Hashmi and other Bollywood personalities can be seen standing with Cook in an image that was uploaded by the actor on his Twitter account. The tweet reads that he is “eagerly waiting for Apple VR!”

Even though the actor has spoken about the alleged Apple VR device, the Cupertino company is silent on its plans on releasing it. Cook is well-known for keeping the details of Apple’s future products under the wraps. Hence, it seems that he may have spoken about Apple VR as one of the forthcoming products of the company to the actor.

HTC, Samsung, LG, Lenovo and several other companies have already released their VR devices. Some companies are also on the verge of releasing second generation VR headsets in the near future. In the previous week, Google unveiled its Daydream VR platform through the I/O 2016 event. Hence, it is likely that Apple may soon an Apple VR headset.

Past rumours also indicate that Apple will be entering the VR market soon. The Cupertino company is rumoured to have built a dedicated team for virtual reality as the company aims to make it big in augmented reality and VR tech. According to Ubergizmo, Apple’s staff were also spotted at Standford’s Virtual Human Interaction Lab.

Rumours related to iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus indicate that these smartphones will not feature overhaul improvements. Both the smartphones are expected to appear similar to iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus from last year.

The iPhone 7 is expected to house OIS enabled camera. On the other side, iPhone 7 Plus is speculated to feature dual-camera system, 256 GB native storage and 3 GB of RAM. Fresh speculations suggest that both the iPhones will carry support for VR. Hence, the alleged Apple VR is expected to release alongside iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in September this year.
