Aussies wanting to get ahold of the latest model of Apple MacBook Pro can now pre-order their latest computer from any Apple store or retailer.

A 13-inch MacBook Pro starts at $2,199 in Australia for the 256 GB model. The 13-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar and Touch ID features costs $2,699 for the 256 GB model or $2,999 for the 512 GB variant.

Meanwhile, the 15-inch MacBook Pro starts at $2,999 for the 256 GB model. The 15-inch version with Touch Bar and Touch ID features costs $3,599 for the 256 GB model or $4,249 for the 512 GB variant.

The latest and most advanced models of Apple MacBook Pro come in silver and space grey colour variants.

Interested buyers can now pre-order on Apple's website in Australia. But shipping of MacBook Pros will start Nov. 1 for the 13-inch and 15-inch models sans the Touch Bar and Touch ID features. Customers opting to buy the MacBook Pros that come with Touch Bar and Touch ID features will have to wait for three to four weeks.

Apple launched the new line of MacBook Pro at an event in California. The new MacBook Pro laptops run on up to 10 hours of battery life and up to 3.8 GHz Turbo Boost processing. Higher models include Touch Bar and Touch ID features that are a first on Apple’s laptop models.
