Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference is like the tip of the iceberg. It is a time when Apple announces its upcoming offerings with details like iOS updates hinting at possible iPhone offerings. There is stil a debate ongoing on which smartphone Apple will release, but expectations suggest that the company should shed more light about the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 6s this June.

The WWDC is an important event in Apple's calender and should not be underestimated. Some may consider the WWDC as one of Apple's quieter events but considering how the company paced out its releases in 2014 to deliver an impressive year-end performance is something worth noting. Apple already issued the invites last April 14 specifying details of the event running from June 8 to 12 at San Francisco's Moscone West.

Apple SVP of Worldwide Marketing Philip Schiller also hinted: "We've got incredible new technology for iOS and OS X to share with developers at WWDC and around the world, and can't wait to see the next generation of apps they create."

As with other iOS announcements, a new OS should also hint at what people can expect from either the iPhone 6s or the iPhone 7. Whether or not Apple will break tradition and reveal a new phone on the event still remains undetermined. The company has been moving towards new ventures that it could be a possibility. However, so long as Apple has not announced any details on the matter then people should everything with a grain of salt. Expected features of the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 6s include high tech metal, more RAM, DSLR-like camera and A9 chip among others. Ming-Chi Kuo from KGI Securities noted previously that Apple may introduce a different kind of Force Touch technology to be featured on upcoming phones.
