All eyes have turned to Apple's iPhone 7 as more details about the smartphone surfaces. According to recent information, the Cupertino-based giant is working on a voice-unlocking feature including a new aluminium build and DSLR-like components for the upcoming smartphone. The new build will address previous "bendgate" issues related to the iPhone 6 series.

Apple has not made any official comments about the actual release of the iPhone 7 series. While there have been debates on whether it would debut with the iPhone 6s this year or totally eliminate the former remains uncertain, details about the smartphone have not stopped surfacing. The latest association made is through a recent patent sighting suggesting Apple's work on a voice-unlocking feature.

The patent is referred to as "Speech Recognition Wake-Up of a Handheld Portable Device" published under the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. The device offers a new way of bypassing the TouchID and slide screen unlock feature to wake up the phone faster and hand free. As with other patent applications and grants, this may or may not find its way to the upcoming iPhone depending on Apple's discretion. All expectations and predictions should be taken with a grain of salt.

As for the new build, Apple appears intent on making sure no other "bendgate" scandal will ensure as Economic Daily News reports the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus to come with a custom Series 7000 aluminum alloy. It should be 60 percent stronger compared to the standard aluminium. Lastly, Apple's acquisition of Israeli company Linx sparks rumors that it will be including DLSR-like capabilities to its next iPhones considering the specialty of the latter. According to the sources familiar to the matter, the acquisition could amount up to as much as $20 million.
