Only last week, there was massive buzz around Apple’s upcoming devices for 2015 and this apparently includes the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus and the iPhone 6c. While the iPhone 6s models are the refreshed versions of the 2014 flagship and phablet, the new relatively low-cost iPhone 6c will reportedly target the price conscious market. However, as iPhone 6c release date nears, a new set of photos have surfaced online showcasing the rear cover and thereby, giving away a slew of information about the new Apple device.

The Apple iPhone 6c is expected to be in the likes of the iPhone 5s from 2013. The handset will reportedly feature a pocket-friendly 4.0-inch display. Nonetheless, the new device will apparently maintain the NFC connectivity support, TouchID Fingerprint scanner and the Corning Gorilla Glass protection from the predecessor. In any case, the metal chassis seen in the iPhone 5s will be replaced by a “cost-efficient” plastic chassis in the iPhone 6c, according to Phone Arena.

Moving on to the leaked iPhone 6c photos, a mobile parts reseller named Future Supplier has reportedly ferreted out the device’s plastic rear cover. Going by the images, the rear shell showcases a display size of 5.0-inch, similar to the iPhone 5 or 5s. Plus, the back cover is reportedly a replica of the rear cover seen in the iPhone 5c.

However, there are a couple of differences between the two rear covers: One, the LED flash right next to the camera cut out is apparently oval in shape instead of the round one seen in the iPhone 5c. Two, the iPhone 6c back cover reportedly shows two sets of speaker holes at the bottom of the device. It is worth reminding that the iPhone 5c from 2013 comes with only a single set of four holes, however, the location of the speaker has not changed in the new device. With the back to back phone details surfacing from all corners, the impending iPhone 6c release looks quite evident.

Lastly, interested readers can check out the red iPhone 6c photos of the rear cover from Future Supplier. In any case, readers should note that Apple has not confirmed the iPhone 6c specifications thus far.
