Apple iOS 8 was first announced at the WWDC 2014 event in June and the subsequent release happened in September. Going by Apple's history of iOS releases, the Apple iOS 9 is expected to be previewed in June 2015. This will be followed by the announcement of the next-generation iPhones and iPads in September 2015. Now, a credible concept video of the much-anticipated iOS 9 has been published, showcasing some of the important features of the new OS version.

As Phone Arena puts it, in the case of believable concepts and ideas for Apple iOS, Ralph Theodory is the one to look out for. Apparently, Ralph has released a concept video of the iOS 9 with features worthy of a place in the upcoming OS version. Here is a list of 15 features and explanations from the iOS 9 video:

1. History in Settings - This feature will list down every modification made to the Settings window. And thereby, users can avoid the clumsiness of going through all the menus to figure out what changes were made.

2. Search in Settings - This feature will allow users to retrieve the required Settings by doing a fast search.

3. Smart Sleep Mode - This is a Siri feature, where the digital assistant appears after 5 or more songs to make sure the user is awake and listening to the music. In case, the user does not respond with a button press or alternatively, by speaking into the earphones' mic, Siri will take charge and automatically switch off the music.

4. Night Mode - This mode will black out the menus in order to make them readable, when the surrounding environment is dim-lit.

5. Colour Look - This feature will allow the user to customise the colour of buttons, UI elements and Control Center.

6. Settings Everywhere - This feature will allow the user to access all the apps and the respective privacy settings with a single swipe down in the switcher.

7. Close all running apps - This much-required feature will let the user to close all the open apps with a single tap.

8. Siri Spell - In case, Siri does not recognise or identify the user's words, the digital assistant will request the user to spell the words and learn them eventually.

9. Round Springboard - Ralph wants the rounded springboard specific to Apple Watch to be added to the Zoomed and Normal display modes.

10. Language Auto Playlists - With this feature, the new Music App will automatically identify the song/track's language and appends the same to the language playlist.

11. Smart Shuffle - This feature will allow the music player to automatically choose the best tracks and albums based on the environmental condition like time, weather, movement and occasions, surrounding the user.

12. New Video Feed - This video feed will combine all the streaming apps on the user's handset into one master feed.

13. Lock Screen Clock - With this feature, the user will be able to tailor-make the lock screen Clock with custom widgets.

14. Learn - Ralph wants the "Tips app" to be converted to "Learn app" that teaches and guides the device user about iOS.

15. Button Control - This feature will let the user to assign virtual buttons on the screen and thereby, alter the tasks of the buttons.
