Apple just announced the release of its iOS 8.2 update and many users already felt its direct impact. Apart from the Apple Watch interface, the new software build addresses a series of long-standing problems including stability issues and bug plaguing the iOS 8 series since its September launch. According to Apple's post on its support page:

"iOS SDK 8.2 provides support for developing iOS apps. The SDK is packaged with a complete set of tools, compilers, and frameworks for creating apps for iOS and OS X. The tools include the Xcode IDE and the Instruments analysis tool, among many others. With this software, you can develop apps for iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch running iOS 8. It now includes WatchKit, a framework for developing Apple Watch apps. You can test your apps using the included iOS Simulator."

However, despite Apple's attempts to correct the iOS 8 series, the iOS 8.2 has not been plagued with problems, including two "nasty" tagged and prolonged issues: WiFi connectivity and high battery drain. According to Forbes, despite Apple getting some things right on the iOS 8.2, it does not seem work around the infamous "WiFried" problem. The big has been affecting a considerable number of users forcing people to deal with heavily degraded or completely broken wireless connectivity. The problem has become so intense that there have been dedicated websites over it with Google turning up as much as over 70,000 results on the matter alone.

Apart from the obvious battery drain, people also point to additional bloatware on the iOS 8.2. Those will upgrade to the new software will get the Apple Watch app automatically with no chance of removing it. Curiously, Apple also does not list the app together with the functions under settings thus the size of the program remains a mystery. The Apple Watch should be released officially around April. Apple has also released the iOS 8.3 beta promising more improvements and hopefully additional fixes.
