Apple iOS 8.2 beta for the iPhones is now available for download. The latest beta version corroborates that Apple will release a separate "Apple Watch app" targeting the iOS devices.

Based on the available reports, the Apple Watch release date is pegged for March 2015. Meanwhile, the developers are working day and night to iron out technical difficulties to make sure the gadget integrates and works with the iPhone companion app, notes Phone Arena.

According to reports, the new Apple iOS 8.2 beta does not provide access to the Apple Watch app. However, it can be tracked down within the Bluetooth settings, specific to device pairing. If reports are true, the Apple Watch app will come as a stand-alone app and thereby letting the users manage the watch settings. Furthermore, the app will also have the ability to download and install other compatible apps directly on the Apple Watch.

Additionally, the Apple Watch app will also reportedly come equipped with the ability to share the "processing load" of the gadget with the paired iPhone. This feature would be really helpful especially when power-hungry tasks are run on the watch and that in turn might play havoc on the wearable's battery life, says Phone Arena. By sharing the process load, the tiny device can stay powered-on for a relatively longer period. As 9To5Mac puts it, "A user's iPhone is also used to help with computational demands. Apple cleverly pushes a lot of processor needs to the phone in order to preserve Apple Watch battery life."

With the Apple Watch release date set in March, recently leaked report notes that the training sessions for the Apple Store employees will begin on Feb. 9 and will end on Feb. 16. The same report also states that many Apple Store representatives will be flying to Apple's headquarters to get trained about the device, notes Phone Arena.

It is worth mentioning that the Apple Watch will reportedly be sold as three variants: a metal and glass clad sports version, a stainless steel variant and a solid gold model. Also, the price pertaining to the aforementioned models include $350 for the base model, $500 for the stainless steel variant and thousands of dollars for the one adorned in gold, says the same site.
